If anybody's interested, I went to this last night. It's not a review so much as a summary and my reaction to the play...thing, whatever it was. Anyway, I don't want to repost it here, and it has spoilers and some not-child-friendly language, so here's the link to the post in my journal. They're done with the show for now. There's another one in December, but I'm not sure who all will be in it, they just gave the date at the end. But yeah, it was so worth seeing. Cracked out acid-trip of a dream, but I will never be able to listen to Requiem and not bust out into giggles ever again. I'm really regretting not getting the photo book.
Anyway, yeah, I just thought I'd share that. I'm still giggling about it today. I'm pretty sure that's something I'll be giggling about for a very long time. There was mention of a DVD before the show, but nothing set. I really REALLY hope they make one.

For once, there is good news regarding The ROMEO's new album! XD After being delayed twice, it seems that they've finally completed the jacket design and everything - the design was done by an artist named YOICHIRO, who if any of you may remember, did a couple of shirts for the band in 2008, such as this one.
We're relying on the poor quality of Daisuke's phone camera here, but in this post, he gave us a picture of both the front and back artwork.
Daisuke and Hiroki have mentioned that they plan to play two new songs during the March leg of their ROSARIO tour (which begins this evening in Japan), but hilariously, it seems that they'll be doing so before anyone going to the Osaka or Nagoya shows even receives the CD with the old songs. Let's hope the new album gets released sooner than this one has!

Hey all! I come bearing another (not so interesting) announcement. Over the years, as I've grown to become more and more of a fan of The ROMEO (whereas I started out solely a fan of Daishi), I've been frustrated that this community doesn't give me very much freedom to post about any of the other members of the band in any detail, nor to post about their side projects. As much as I love Daishi (and I assure you, I do!), I thought that if anyone else in this community might have grown to like the other members as well, you may be feeling similar frustrations.
I created a new community, not to replace this one of course, but to allow me (and anyone else who wants to) to wax on about Hiroki, Daisuke, Okachin, and perhaps even Shingo (despite the fact that he has left the band).
The new community is called romeoxjulieta. If you're interested, please feel free to join!

It's that time of year again. Happy birthday, DAISHI! Although we don't hear news from him as often, it's nice to know that he's still giving it his all.
